There is a microwave that worked well and a refrigerator with a dedicated freezer, which is definitely impressive for a motel. I will also add that the receptionist was nice.

Our room was very clean and very spacious; we love the free parking right next to our hotel door. Wifi was a bit spotty, had to keep reconnecting. The lady at check-in was very nice.

Much better than a standard roadside motel. This is mainly due to the fact that the rooms were recently renovated and very spacious. Nothing out of the ordinary or special, but clean and comfortable, which is what you should desire from such a property.
